We’ve combined three of Africa’s most compelling safari destinations—and superb safari guide Martin Meyer—for this great adventure. In South Africa, we’ll be on the trail of the Big Five on the savannas of Timbavati, part of renowned Greater Kruger National Park. In Zambia, we marvel at the roaring spectacle of mighty Victoria Falls and take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River (expect sightings of elephant, giraffe, and an abundance of hippo). A charter flight brings us to an intimate lodge in the far reaches of Botswana’s Chobe National Park, a wildlife paradise known for its predators, from prides of lion to scavenging jackals. Our last flight sets us down in the watery realm of the Okavango Delta for active days of exploration by motorboat and dugout canoe and walks on wilderness islands. At night, we may hear hippos come ashore to graze by our waterside lodge!
