Depart from Johannesburg hotels and visit Hartebeespoort dam, and visit The Upside Down House, and travel to Madikwe Game Reserve and on arrival, ready yourself for an afternoon/evening game drive where you will get to see the Big 5 such as Elephants, Lions, Leopards, and Rhinos, plus endangered wild dogs. Where animals often gather at the Madikwe Dam to drink at sunset. After your drive, you’ll return to the lodge.

Before another day of the tour, you'll have a cup of tea or coffee before departing on the early
morning game drive. Whilst it’s cool is the best time to see predators such as lion, leopard or
cheetah as well as general game. The 4 x 4 vehicle provides excellent photographic opportunities &
your ranger will describe the habits of different animals & birds as you travel along. Return to the
lodge for breakfast. This is a unique experience and affords remarkable pictures of elephants,
buffalo, giraffe, zebra and other species drinking. Later in the afternoon after a delicious tea, join
your ranger for more excitement on the evening game drive.

Today will be another early start for a final morning game drive and, hopefully, some memorable
sightings to cap off your stay in Madikwe Game Reserve. After the drive you’ll eat breakfast at your
lodge and then be transferred to Johannesburg.
