Experience South Africa’s top highlights – Arrive in Cape Town for sea adventures, Penguins, Whales, and Sharks Safari. On arrival in Cape Town, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Continue your journey of discovery by joining the mornings Cape Town city tours to explore all the highlights including a trip up Table Mountain.
And explore the flagship structure associated with times during the Apartheid South Africa, Sun City Resorts. Bordering this entertainment complex, you will find one of the world’s outstanding geological phenomena; a crater of a long-extinct volcano and the result of eruptions some 1,200 million years ago – The Pilanesberg Game Reserve.
Arrival in Cape Town & transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Cape Town.
Depart for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point – not the most southerly point of Africa but certainly the most dramatic and also scenically beautiful, situated as it is in a protected indigenous floral paradise with an endless expanse of ocean on all sides.
This is where the true beauty of the Cape comes to the fore as you drive the spectacular coastal road along the Atlantic Seaboard, via the V&A Waterfront, Sea Point, Clifton’s four world-famous beaches, playground of the international jet set, Camps Bay with its vibrant palm-lined beachfront and restaurants and bars, then over the mountain pass down into the historic & picturesque seaside village of Hout Bay, just 20 minutes’ drive from the city centre of Cape Town.
Join the 35-minute cruise from Hout Bay Harbour to Duiker Island, better known as Seal Island, where you can view the thousands of Cape Fur Seals which inhabit the island at close range, in their natural environment.
From Hout Bay, you climb out of the valley via Chapman’s Peak Drive which is one of the most spectacular marine drives in the world.
You will eventually reach historical Simonstown, steeped in British naval history and now home not only to the South African Navy but also to a large colony of crazy African penguins who decided to set up residence on a busy suburban beach! Highly endangered, these penguins have settled down remarkably well to suburban living and constantly enchant and entertain the crowds
From the penguins, the road winds along the rocky coastline until it reaches the impressive entrance to Cape Point Nature Reserve where you will experience the grandeur of one of the highest sea cliffs and the freshest air in South Africa. Lesser-known details are the 1200 species of indigenous plants, various small mammals, antelope, zebras, baboons and even South Africa’s largest bird, the ostrich, which call this park home.
Climb to the original lighthouse erected in 1860, 238 metres above the sea. Then take a drive down to the actual Cape of Good Hope for the must-have photo to prove to everyone back home that you really were!
Overnight in Cape Town.
Start with the scenic drive up over the Nek – the pass between Table Mountain and Lion’s Head - to the Cable Station for a spectacular cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain.
There’s plenty of space on top – you can spend some time walking and enjoying the breath-taking 360° views of Cape Town, the surrounding ocean, and the mountains beyond.
The glorious views over the Mother City start the minute you step into the state of the art cable car (one of only three in the world).
The floor of the 65 passenger car rotates 360 degrees on the way up and down – a trip that takes less than 10 minutes traveling at a speed of up to 10m per second.
The mountain itself serves as a nature reserve home to many indigenous plants and animals.
On the top, there is a selection of viewpoints over the Peninsula Cape Town is a very compact city, tucked in under Table Mountain as it is, so we usually incorporate the City Tour on our way to and from Table Mountain.

Transfer back to Johannesburg International Airport via Lesedi Cultural Village,
11h30 Lesedi Experience. Lesedi Cultural villages offer a cultural experience of old and new Africa. One of Lesedi’s many differentiating factors is the village’s natural and tasteful incorporation into the surrounding heart of the bushveld and rocky hills.
The discovery begins at the Ndebele village where the introduction to the cultural experience precedes a multi-media presentation on the history and origins of today’s rainbow nation. This is followed by a guided tour of the other four ethnic homesteads – Zulu, Basotho, Xhosa, and Pedi.
At lunchtime, you are escorted to the Boma for traditional singing and dancing (a very participative affair!!) depicting stories that date back to the days of their ancestors.
You are then treated to a Pan African Buffet in the Restaurant – “The Greatest Africa”
Arrive in Johannesburg International Airport where the tour ends and guests will take a flight back home.
